Chuck & Ruth Myers
Chuck Myers and his lovely wife Ruth have been married for 25 years and have four children by birth along with a son who, though not a birth child, holds a special place in their hearts. Jason and his wife Julie have given them a beautiful granddaughter named Sophia. Kristina, who will be married this summer to Joe Presson, lives in Dubuque, Iowa, and is finishing her degrees in Bible and Nursing. Caleb lives and works in Minneapolis, MN, and is very active at his church in the youth ministry and music program. Bethany will be graduating high school and beginning her freshman year of college this year. Joel will be entering his sophomore year of high school and is a great student and sports nut.
Chuck and Ruth have served the Lord in full-time ministry and through their local church. They have always had a heart for families and youth and love the opportunity to share the love of the Savior whenever they can. Chuck has served as a church elder for almost 9 years, has been involved with Christian camping for nearly 30 years, served on the boards of a number of ministries and groups, and has enjoyed teaching God’s Word in a number of different settings.
Chuck and Ruth are excited about coming to Hickory Cove to serve the Lord and look forward to meeting many new people, living a different culture, and experiencing warmer winters!
