We are pleased to announce that Chuck Myers has agreed to serve Hickory Cove Bible Camp as Interim Executive Director as of June 1st, 2010.
Keith Moore, our current Executive Director, has decided to resign as of May 31, so that he and his wife Beth can devote attention to the critical needs of their elderly parents in Greenville, SC. We are thankful for their presence and leadership at Hickory Cove since 2004; we are very sorry to see them move on at this time, and we do hold them up in prayer as they follow the Lord’s direction in their lives. We are thankful that the Lord has also provided Keith a job opportunity in that area right away. Here is a special message from Keith & Beth.
Chuck Myers and his family have been preparing to relocate from Minneapolis to Hickory Cove, to take on the previously agreed-upon role of Camp Director after this summer season. However with Keith’s unexpected departure, Chuck has agreed to immediately step in and take over the leadership and administrative roles. The Board of Trustees will conduct a prayerful and organized process to appoint a permanent Executive Director as soon as practical, but given the timing and urgency right before the summer camp season, we are extremely grateful to Chuck and his family for re-arranging their summer plans and taking on the entire responsibility over Hickory Cove Bible Camp on such short notice.
We thank the Lord for His provision for the ministry at Hickory Cove Bible Camp. It is simply amazing how God works and moves, and His timing is always perfect. Please continue to pray for a fruitful summer season at camp, and for the many staff, counselors, and volunteers serving this summer.

It is with great sadness that Beth and I say goodbye to our Hickory Cove family. For the past few months we have been torn between our need to be back in Greenville to care for family members and our love for the ministry here at Hickory Cove. Recently the Lord has made it clear to us that we need to be in Greenville.
As God has made His will known to us our first concern was for the summer camp ministry that was quickly approaching. We did not want to leave so close to summer and see the summer camp season struggle. One of God’s gracious gifts to us is seeing how He has already orchestrated things behind the scenes to prepare the way for us to leave and have all the bases at camp covered by such competent people. God has raised up some godly men and women to assume the great privilege and responsibility of touching lives with the good news of Jesus Christ and for that we are very thankful.
We will miss you all greatly but we will not be far away. May God richly bless you as continue to follow after Him with all of your heart!
In His Great Love,
Keith & Beth Moore

It’s spring and everything around us is beginning to bloom—beautiful flowers, trees, shrubs, and grass—all coming to life this time of year. You’ll find plants growing in lots of different places, from gardens to backyards, cracks in the driveway and hard-packed paths. Some places are fertile and easy for growing, and some are dry and difficult.
Just like these plants, God wants us to grow in His likeness whatever our circumstances and conditions. In fact, God wants us to do more than just survive in difficult situations. He wants us to become like Daniel, Joseph, and Gideon, who stood strong and tall wherever they found themselves. Come join us at Spring Adventure as we learn how to “bloom where we are planted.”
At Spring Adventure Weekend we cram as much fun and learning as we can into three days to give you a little taste of what summer will be like. If you’re a returning camper or a first-timer, this is sure to be a great camp experience!
Fee: $80 per person for the first two people in a family ($60 for any additional). A medical form will be sent with confirmation of
registration and deposit.
Arrive: Friday, April 16, 7pm-8pm for
registration (supper is not provided)
Depart: Sunday, April 18, 12pm (parents are invited to stay for lunch)
